Crown Street runs through the Exchange Quarter in Leeds city centre, and Whiskey Down Leeds is in The Townhouse at number 25. It's a members' gentlemen's club styled on the private lounges of the 1970s: chandeliers, leather chesterfields, shelves of books and a round stage in the middle.

The drinks are the other half of it. Whisky from America, Ireland, Japan and Scotland, over fifty gins, and there are areas without dancers if you just want a quiet late one.

Open six nights, closed Mondays. It's 10pm to 4am most nights and to 6am on Fridays and Saturdays.
