Carol Doda danced topless here in 1964, and the Condor has been dining out on it ever since, which is fair enough. The club holds the corner of Broadway and Columbus in North Beach under a neon sign nearly as famous as the woman it once advertised, and the city has put it on its Legacy Business Registry.

The show is still topless: a dozen or more dancers on a busy shift, VIP lounges for private dances across two floors, a full bar with bottle service, and big screens for the game. Despite the dining out, there is no kitchen. Doors open at 6 p.m., or 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and close at 2 a.m.; the cover is $20 and the crowd is strictly 21 and over.
