Exit 28 off Interstate 80, east of Sparks, then a short run up Wild Horse Canyon Drive into Storey County: that is the Mustang Ranch, a house that bills itself as world famous, some fifteen minutes from the Reno-Tahoe airport.

Nobody hurries you inside. The Wild Horse Saloon pours drinks, the kitchen serves meals from a chef the house calls award winning, and the lounge and parlor are there for sitting a while before meeting the ladies, all of them independent contractors, either in the lineup or by booking ahead. Each suite carries a theme: a Spanish villa, a Western room, an Asian suite, a dungeon, a shower suite and a private Jacuzzi room. Couples are welcome, and an off-property date can be arranged as long as it starts at the ranch.

Ranch and saloon both run around the clock, every day of the year, and no reservation is needed; the lot has room for big rigs with trailers.
