On Cypress Creek Parkway, the FM 1960 corridor in north Houston, Colette Houston runs a private, members-only lifestyle club for couples and single men and women who swing, practice polyamory or are simply curious. Its point of difference, by the club's own account, is a fully licensed premium bar, which it says no other on-premise lifestyle club in Texas has.

The room has a dance floor under a DJ, a lounge and a second-floor lounge, plus lockers, valet parking and security. It is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 p.m., is non-smoking and admits only guests aged 21 or older. Dress is upscale, and single men must wear a collared shirt and dress shoes.
