After a match, St Mary Street stays loud well past midnight, and Playhouse at number 32 is where plenty of Cardiff nights carry on. Doors open at ten midweek, nine on Fridays and half past nine on Saturdays.

The rooms are deep red, hung with gilt-framed pictures, around a large central stage with continuous shows under the lights. Twenty dance booths and fifteen private VIP lounges line the club, the biggest taking a party of up to twenty-two, and waitresses bring drinks to the table. At weekends the night runs until six in the morning.
