Glendale is a small city entirely wrapped by Denver, and Shotgun Willie's, on South Colorado Boulevard, is easily its best-known address. Debbie Dunafon opened it in 1982 and it is still a woman-owned club, with around 200 entertainers on the books and some 10,000 square feet to work in.

Beyond the main floor there are bookable rooms with names like the Barrel Room, the Fobs Room and the Glass Room, a kitchen with a T-bone lunch, and the T Bar lounge for karaoke. The calendar leans cheerfully silly: mashed potato wrestling, a car show, a Thursday amateur strip-off. It is open every day from 2 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
