Long dates are my favourite kind. Something about the first half hour being unhurried, about neither of us having to prove anything before we've even sat down properly.

My name is Melina. Spanish, with Brazilian roots a couple of generations back, and I pay attention to detail in a way people tend to notice afterwards rather than at the time — the temperature of the room, whether you've actually eaten, what you really meant when you said you were tired. What I build is a quiet, carefully made hour, close and complicit, where the sensations arrive slowly and then stay a while.
