Grey marble veined with gold runs floor to wall at Bambra Studio, a Glen Huntly Road address in Caulfield that has traded as a brothel since 1970 and was restored and reopened in 2023. The palette is deliberate: navy walls, a slatted timber reception desk trimmed in brass, frosted glass etched with the house name, deep quilted headboards lit in cool blue.
The house works only with mature ladies over 35. Walk-ins are welcome with no entry charge; guests meet the ladies in a private waiting room and talk before choosing. Open Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm, with a discreet rear entrance.
