Some Sydney institutions get a plaque. This one, opened as A Touch of Class in 1972, got a full refit instead and came back in 2017 as A Touch More Class. It sits at 377 Riley Street in Surry Hills, though regulars tend to use the rear entrance off Foveaux Street, with its own car park and no audience.

The refurbishment went heavy on marble. Rooms have big en-suites with LED rainfall showers, fresh water jet spas, mirrored ceilings, a pole and an in-room bar; there is a VIP bar and a cigar lounge, and a penthouse up top. It never closes, and it is wheelchair accessible.
