Look for the orange awnings. Maggie's has held down 20-22 Kellett Street, in the Potts Point end of the Cross, for more than forty years, and a red curtain hangs in the doorway. Inside there is a reception, a backlit bar and ten rooms, among them a spa room with a big tub, a party room with a pole and leather lounge, a purple-lit deluxe room and a cinema room with a projector. From 12.30pm it is appointments only; after six the door is open to anyone until six in the morning. Kings Cross station is a short walk, which beats finding a park.
