Velvet tub chairs, big mirrors and a lot of blue light: that's Blue Velvet, one of the longest-running lap-dancing clubs in Newcastle, halfway down Dean Street in the city centre. It's in the same group as For Your Eyes Only, and has a pole stage, private dance booths and VIP rooms.
There are stage shows every night. Doors are at 9pm most nights, 8pm on Fridays and 6pm on Saturdays, and it keeps going until five in the morning or a bit after. Packages suit stags, hens and couples, including the club's stag-on-stage stitch-up.
