Over ons
Dick Shappy, who restores vintage Cadillacs across the street, built this Charles Street club into a Providence fixture and, in the late 1990s, fought the city through the state courts to keep its entertainment license.
The Cadillac Lounge now stacks three levels: a topless main stage, an all-nude stage in the second-floor sports bar and a quieter all-nude room on the third, with five bars between them and a big seasonal patio with its own bar. The kitchen cooks in the evening and a free weekday buffet comes with a drink. It opens at noon every day, with no cover before 6.
