Since 1963 the Pink Poodle on South Bascom Avenue has meant one thing in San Jose: the city's only all-nude club, still run by the same family. Inside, purple tufted leather and starburst carpet surround the long, rail-lined main stage, while a VIP room with leather sofas and its own smaller stage handles one-on-one dances.
There is no alcohol by design. The juice bar pours coffee, energy drinks and alcohol-free beer, guests must be 18 with ID, and admission is $25 cash or $30 by card. Parking next door is free, and the club opens Wednesday through Sunday from 8 or 9 pm.
