The lodge looks like it wandered down from the mountains: log walls, river-rock bars, antlers over the pool table. Squirrel Creek Lodge sits on park-like grounds at the southern edge of the Denver metro, and since 2003 it has been home to Scarlet Ranch, a private lifestyle club for couples and, within limits, singles.
There are indoor and outdoor dance stages, three BYOB bars, a fine-dining restaurant called Oreads with Sunday brunch, cabanas and a tipi with a fire pit out back, lockers and free parking. Themed parties run most nights, and the crowd averages 37.
Membership and a signed agreement come first, even for one night. Doors open at 6 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday and at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
