Collared shirt, tidy trousers, clean shoes: Minx is particular about the door, which tells you something about the room. The club sits at 72 Pitt Street in the CBD, a few minutes from Martin Place, Wynyard and the Quay, and keeps the lights low among chesterfields, gilt wallpaper and a well-stocked back bar. Independent dancers work the stage and pole, private rooms are there for a one-on-one performance, and the bar runs to champagne and top-shelf spirits. Walk-ins are welcome; Thursday and Friday fill up.
