Thirty-some years on, Trapeze on State Road 7 is still the lifestyle club South Florida people mention first. It is a private, members-only house for couples and single ladies, with single gentlemen admitted on certain nights, and first-timers get a guided tour before 9 p.m. The front is all social: three bars that mix whatever bottle you brought, a dance floor with a resident DJ, and a chef's buffet that turns into breakfast in the small hours. Past the wooden doors in back are the play areas, with lockers and showers. Doors open at 8 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
