Quantity has never interested me. I would rather see one person and remember it than see five and remember none of them, and what makes that difference is connection, respect, and chemistry that either exists or doesn't.

What I look for is the occasional meeting with an educated, generous man who has some style about him. Someone who notices the small details and doesn't glance at his watch. Discretion matters to me. So does conversation. And so does that particular spark that turns an appointment into something worth having had.
