Your introduction should give your name, age and occupation, your references (with their phone numbers and a link to each provider's most recent listing) and the date and time you're hoping for. Booking at least a day ahead is strongly recommended and gets priority.

First time, with no references? Then extended screening applies. Be ready to send, by text or e-mail, a photo of your ID or driver's license (the address can be covered; your name and photo must be visible), together with proof of employment: a professional networking profile, a work badge or business card whose name matches your ID, or a work e-mail showing your name and title.

I won't reply to:
• "Hi, are you available?", "Hi, how are you?", or a bare "Hi" or "Hey"
• explicit or vulgar questions
• requests to discuss services before screening
• requests for more photos (my reviews speak for themselves)
• negotiation or lowballing
