There is a black-and-white photo from 1970 on Chez Pierre's website: the original club on Jasper Avenue at 106 Street, "Nude Shows" lettered on the front. The cabaret has since moved a block east, to 105 Street just off Jasper, and calls itself Western Canada's longest-running gentlemen's club.
It is a night-owl room, open Tuesday to Saturday from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., with a pole stage, a busy bar and local dancers. The kitchen pulls its weight: Taco Tuesday, Wing Wednesday, flatbreads and nachos, with takeout during club hours.
Post-game parties after Elks games are a regular fixture.
