Midway Drive runs through San Diego's Midway District, and at number 3334 it passes Pacers, a topless club that bills itself as the only nightclub in town with live adult entertainment. The pitch rests on the dancers, cigars and a well-stocked bar, spread across two stages.

Doors open at 5 p.m. every day and close at 2 a.m., with a happy hour in the first two hours. Fight nights and big games play on the screens, a pole competition called Polemaster sits on the September calendar, and bottle service has its own reservation line. The club will even send a limo bus. Leave the tank top and flip-flops at home: the door turns them away, although the club sells T-shirts and hoodies for exactly that situation.
