Twenty acres of lawn, palms and low buildings off Homestead Road make up Sheri's Ranch, which prefers to call itself a resort. Pahrump is sixty miles west of Las Vegas, and the ranch has fitted itself out for guests who stay: a hotel of seven standard rooms and three themed suites, a pool and Jacuzzi in the courtyard, and a restaurant that is open to the public.

The brothel side never closes. Guests shoot pool with the women in the sports bar or take one of five themed bungalows, each with a wet bar, fireplace and Jacuzzi. Unmarked cars bring visitors out from any Las Vegas hotel for free.
