The Rose Burger has been on the menu since the 1980s, which says something about the staying power of the Yellow Rose, a gentlemen's club on North Lamar Boulevard in Austin. The industry's Exotic Dancer awards named it the Central region's best small club of the year, and the house pitches a relaxed room: a VIP area without pretension, quick table service and upbeat DJs.
The full kitchen is run by an award-winning chef and turns out a different plate each weekday, from Cajun redfish on Tuesday to a hand-cut ribeye on Friday, until midnight. Bottle deals fill Sunday through Tuesday.
A free limo picks up after 7 p.m. from hotels and restaurants around town. The dress code is enforced, a two-drink minimum applies and a valid ID is required.
