Head for the corner of James Street and Mountain Terrace in Northbridge, then go upstairs. The Voodoo Lounge is a red-velvet strip club and cabaret lounge built around a main stage and a podium, with plush booths, a long bar and a fireplace glowing in the lounge.
It opens Wednesday to Saturday from 8:30pm. Reserve one of four tables facing the main stage for a two-hour block, or take the High Roller Room downstairs for a private function. Competition nights and jelly wrestling fill the calendar. Smart casual only, so leave the cap, singlet, thongs and hi-vis at home.
