Institut Ims

About us

The IMS Institute (its full name is the Institute for Intelligent Sadism and Masochism) is on Eckenerstraße in Hanover's Vahrenheide district and, by its own account, has been at this location for 23 years. The building is at street level and is also wheelchair accessible via a ramp.

There are 4 rooms to choose from. The clinic has a hospital bed, a gynaecological chair, an ultrasound machine and an ECG; the steel room has a bondage couch, a bondage bed and a cage on wheels; the classic room has a rack, a St Andrew's cross and a standing cage. There is also a bright massage room with a large heated bed. The rooms can be rented as well.

There are no fixed opening hours. Several dominas and experts work here independently and arrange their own appointments; the calendar on the website shows who is in and when. Once a year, the Institute holds an open day.
