On Abbey Street, at the edge of Leicester's city centre, Platinum Lace runs a gentlemen's club styled halfway between a lounge bar and a nightclub. Pole performances and striptease take place on stage, private dances are available, and VIP booths behind red velvet curtains can be reserved for parties or business guests. Weekly themed nights and seasonal parties fill the diary, and stag groups get their own packages. It opens at 9pm from Tuesday to Saturday, closing at 4am midweek and 6am on Fridays and Saturdays.
