About us
Every ten minutes a dancer takes the pole at The Griffin, one of the capital's oldest established strip pubs, on Clerkenwell Road. The stage room glows under chandeliers and gilt mirrors, with round velvet seats lit from beneath, and a private dance lounge and champagne area sit off to the side.
What sets it apart is the pricing. There is no entry fee for most of the year, private dances are a flat £20, and the bar charges ordinary pub prices. Four big screens show football, cricket, rugby and boxing. Smart casual, trainers allowed. Opens from early afternoon, Monday to Saturday.
