About us
Out on Telegraph Street in Reno, the Peppermint Hippo opens its doors at noon every day and keeps them open until 3 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, 5 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The Hungry Hippo Kitchen cooks from early afternoon until close, and Tuesday belongs to tacos.
The calendar leans playful: trade appreciation afternoons with complimentary food and fountain drinks for plumbers, HVAC crews and tattoo artists, jello wrestling after dark, a bikini car wash in summer. VIP tables come with bottle packages, and on Friday and Saturday nights the club sends a free ride to pick you up around town from 9 p.m.
