Sex-worker support in Europe: help, health and legal aid by country
EscortFox editorial team
Updated October 10, 2026 · 12 min readIn short
Every EU country answers 112 for emergencies — police, ambulance and fire, free from any phone.
Most countries below have a free, anonymous HIV and STI testing service — many run specifically for sex workers and without asking for ID or residence papers.
Sex-worker-led organisations are the best first contact for peer advice; specialised counselling centres add legal, social and health help.
Each organisation below was checked against its own website in October 2026.

Frequently asked questionsWherever you work in Europe, there is almost certainly an organisation nearby that helps sex workers — with free and anonymous testing, counselling, legal questions, or simply people who understand the work. This page collects them country by country, alongside the national hotline for anyone affected by trafficking or exploitation. It is written for sex workers first, and for the friends, partners, clients and professionals who sometimes need to point someone to help.

How this list was made
Each organisation was checked in October 2026 against its own website: the site had to load, show recent activity, and describe the services in its own words — the short descriptions above paraphrase that. Organisations whose sites were dead, taken over by unrelated content, or silent for years were left out, even when they are still cited elsewhere. The labels say who a service is for (sex-worker-led, open to everyone) and flag organisations whose aim is helping people leave sex work (exit-oriented).
